from Salty Language Podcast as he gives us his pics from each prior
week of the challenge. In addition, we take a look at the 15 board
games intended to raise your IQ and see if we agree. In New #1, we
head back to Eternia and our youth to see if He Man still has the
power. We debate various board game companies and whether or not
they stack up competitively in over under. The list is heavy and
the Roast has the strength to haul the load.

2014 ends the first calendar year of The Comic Roast and we aim to soar
out with a bang! As the year comes to a close, we look over our personal
year's and determine which made our Best Of lists in various
categories. In New #1, we look over Secret Six by Gail Simone to see if
this is a secret that needs to get out to the masses. We spend a little
time reminiscing on what Santa brought us in his slay. Finally, we
debate the low end warriors of rock as we do or weekly Over / Under on
bass players. We had a good launch beginning in the summer of 2014 and
we intend to continue to entertain and argue as we roll into 2015!

It's nearly Christmas and the
Roast can boast the guest host with the most. Chris Red Alert rejoins
for his alleged monthly appearance that is destined for rancid language.
Since we spent the last holiday episode on thanking the things we enjoy
in life, we decided to go full-on 'Merka and bandy about the things
that we wish to indulge ourselves in. Everything from the comics we want
in our grubby mitts to the video games we want on our oversized TV's,
no target went unnoticed. In New #1, we take a lot at the newest
feminist exploitation sci-fi epic known as Bitch Planet from current
comic book rockstar Kelly Sue DeConnick. We wrap up this podcast present
with an Over/Under on the drummers that make us sad to have ears as
well as the ones that blow our heads

This Roast is headed back to the street as Joe aims to school you all as
to what fighting is all about. He will speak exclusively about what's
the latest happenings in the world of one-on-one fictional combat. From
there, we five deep into the pool of comic book TV shows, both on the
air and yet to be debuted. In Over / Under, we see which game
controllers were recalled fondly and which could ruin any game. We also
slither back into the 80's with Escape From New York by BOOM! in New
#1's. We may not have 20 Eyes, but this episode might be cooler than a
Misfits reunion.

been enjoying. The cast of Suicide Squad has been announced and we also
bandy about the merits of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Game Informer
magazine just posted their Best Of 2014 awards so we make our own picks
and yell about theirs. We take a look at another major publication
promoting the rise of designer board games before hitting up Best Thing
Ever and this week's Over / Under on Game Consoles. Christmas time is
around the corner and as gamers and avid readers, we plan to stuff your
podcast stocking with a plethora of geek news!

We at The Night Beard Show love our technological breakthroughs, especially when it comes to 3D printing sex toys at the local strip mall. It's the sort of service that makes us happy to be properly nourished post-Thanksgiving to keep the stabby desires at bay. All this leaves us is a desire to have a bigger member, but that is the hope of all men who fall from the skies. What in one's pants would it take to ground a passenger jet? When you find out, you might drop something you may regret in front of a cop. To make it less embarrassing, do your best to keep your meat capers a secret. So strap on the new Star Wars trailer, flatulate some find desserts and get ready for a new month of Netflix offerings. Just trim your beard in advance.

As the Roasters survived the busiest shopping weekend of the season, we came out the other end of the proverbial turkey to cook up a milestone episode of The Comic Roast! Brian has no choice but to admit his heathen-esque behavior as he spent Thanksgiving at Target to get a video game steal of a deal. When the group reconvened, they took the time to discuss their gripes and gratefulness towards the many fine purveyors of comic book fiction. Not to be overlooked, they also waxed intellectual on gaming cafes and the script for Justice League Dark. In New #1, things take a trip into the unknown in Deep State from BOOM! Tech companies are given no quarter as they become the subject of Over / Under before we wrap this present in some tasty Best Thing Ever. The turkeys are all digested, the shopping has begun and the Roast is as toasty as ever!

Or perhaps it was from overstuffing ourselves on Chinese food last Friday? Pick your poison. Once more, we talk some about what we've been affixing our eyes upon for reading pleasure. In New #1, we take a gander at Hobgoblin #1 from Marvel. Then, we embark upon a conversation journey into the realms of what we want to be thankful for this holiday season in terms of games we play, comics we are blown away by, music that inspires and more. For our famed Over / Under segment, we dig for some deep cuts by debating the best and the worst songs by Led Zeppelin. It is the Best Thing Ever to thank those people and things that make life worth living and we just can't thank enough.

This week on The Night Beard Show, we get into some deep twerking, So deep...you might say that we soiled ourselves. However, even in the face of adversity, we are that which will come back from the dead, body bag or none. We get into some big time neck snapping that will get you higher than any drug-tainted animal products. Trust us when we say that this is the kind of episode you will want to take with you into the workplace bathroom. Can a 100-year old woman survive a fall from heaven? Do cats even have a point? Even the most famous of monsters need a friend, though I don't suspect that Quentin Tarantino will be one of them. When you strap into The Night Beard Show, you choose an adventure that is as exciting as a trip to Pee Wee's Playhouse and way cooler than Playmobil ever thought of being.
