The Comic Roast has entered the Age of Ultron as we chat a bit about that one movie about avenging things that people seem so excited about. We also visited a Free Comic Book Day event before winding down to talk heroes, villains and what's on TV. We tap into religion with Todd MacFarlane's "Savior" in New # 1. And finally, do you like websites? We like a few and discuss them in Over/Under. It's not as action packed as a Marvel movie, but The Comic Roast podcast is definitely free.

The Roast is now the most as a four-piece supergroup as Red Alert becomes a permanent fixture via Skype. As such, we put together supergroups made up of characters from comics and gaming to see who can rock out with their pod out. We try to get our fill of The Empty from Jimmie Robinson in New #1. Red Alert is our returning champion, back in the saddle again to ply us
with both his opinions and his unnecessary cutdowns. As he made the
trek, the Roasters took a much needed sabbatical to insure the sights
and smells of Northwest Indiana Comic Con, the largest con in the middle
of seemingly nowhere. In New #1, we try to pin down a title by the name
of Nameless from Grant Morrison and see what moniker it is worthy of.
The Over / Under calls to mind the best and worst of 80's Metal Bands
while we also discuss what scenes from comics would horrify a non-comic
reader if they saw it in a movie. Did Scott seek out protection from the
APA's Ron Simmons? Find out if anyone gives a "Damn!".

Being huge music nerds, we decided to play a bit of a game on this week's Roast. We look over some of our favorite albums and decide which ones are ripe for the comic book or gaming treatment. From there, Johnathan Hickman's latest high concept slab "The Dying And The Dead" drops in for New #1. We banter back and forth over Nintendo and the Preacher script. Finally in Over / Under, we see which coffees bring the noise as well as spoil the party. Winter is (hopefully) winding down but with good java and better reads, we will come through with froth and verve.

We go through a number of genre categories and see what would make us want to engage in a romantic getaway. Tony from Salty Language Podcast dusted off his final picks for the Comics Challenge and we put that dust in the fan and spread it all over the place. We kick over the violence and examine Mortal Kombat X in New #1. Finally, we talk about super groups in Over / Under. Some love is in the air, some is just dust in the wind.

break out the can of Raid. We talk again on board game cafes and what
would we do if we owned one. Staying on the board, we discuss Board Game
Themes in Over/Under. Even amidst Snowpacalypse 2015, Scott and the
crew roast their way ahead with another exciting new episode.
