This week on The Comic Roast's Movie Roast, we get demonic with the 1976 gothic horror classic The Omen from director Richard Donner, he of The Goonies and Superman films. Known as much for its creepy Satanic panic atmosphere as for its bevy of sequels and a misfired remake, we discuss not only how well it has aged, but also how it fares up against other blasphemous classics such as Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist. Would Ronnie James Dio raise the horned hand in approval or would The Omen fail to capture the unsettled imagination of a modern audience?
